Product facts:
  • READY TO USE - ER Bar contains 6 individual 400-calorie food rations. Unlike "Meals-Ready-to-Eat" (MREs), this emergency food doesn't require any water or other preparation.
  • MORE NUTRITIOUS - ER Bar has been enriched with 100% of a disaster victim's recommended vitamins and minerals; providing more nutrition than other leading emergency food bars by comparison.
  • BIGGER - ER Bar provides 18 oz. instead of only the 16 oz. found in other 2400 calorie food bars. The larger bar offers a more substantial serving size and 3 day survival food supply.
  • SAFER - ER Bar is safer than other 5 year shelf-life emergency food rations because it does not contain any coconut or other tropical oils to which some people may have an allergic reaction at a time where there may not be medical aid. Made with the purest of ingredients and manufactured under the most stringent of conditions, these bars offer assurance that you will have chosen the best quality and safest emergency food ration available.
  • SPECIALLY PACKAGED - ER Bar is made using a USCG approved hermetic sealing process with corrosion-resistant material that meets the MIL-131 Barrier Materials Standards. Bars store compactly, keep replacement costs low, and require minimum maintenance by having a 5 year shelf life.

Editorial Product Review:

Item Description:
The ER Bar Emergency Food Ration Bar is an exciting new breakthrough in survival foods. The ER Bar is a US Coast Guard Approved, 3 Day food ration bar. With a non-thirst provoking formula and a perfect balance of quality ingredients, it is specifically designed for disaster victims. It also is vacuum sealed and specially packaged to provide a certified U.S.C.G. 5 Year Shelf-Life. As stores may be closed for several weeks following a major disaster, you need to have enough food to survive. But don't waste your money and time replacing food. Canned foods and store bought food items spoil within 6 months. Get quality food rations that you can count on. Each bar contains 100% of a person's recommended vitamins, minerals, and calories for 3 days; providing more nutrition than other leading bars by comparison.

Buyer Reviews
Average Buyer Rating: out of 5 stars

Customer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - misleading, but still useful
My ER food bars came as one large bar per package, with scores for cutting it into 6 pieces, so you must be prepared to store the parts (or feed 6 people at once). It seems to indicate there's some sort of subpackaging into 400 calory units, but mine isn't like that.

It is quite edible, much better than most of the food bars I've tried, so it would be easy to eat a whole bar in a day or two, and not be hungry.
